§ 2-186. Payment of bills.

  • The city manager shall:

    (1)

    Approve all bills for payment and countersign checks prepared and signed by the city clerk for payment thereof.

    (2)

    Cause bills to be paid upon receipt where a discount and saving will accrue to the city.

    (3)

    Advise the mayor and council at each regular council meeting, the amount of bills paid the preceding month.
